What is robotics?

Robotics is about building machines that sense the world around them and act on what they sense. A sensor measures something, such as sound, light, distance or colour, and a small controller decides what the machine does next.

What students build

In Upskily's main robotics courses, students design and control a rover for space-exploration missions and code vehicles that follow paths and respond to obstacles on their own. In the hands-on robotics courses, students wire sensors, lights and buzzers into working projects: a light that switches on with a clap, RGB lights that mix colours, a parking sensor that warns when something gets too close, street lights that switch on when they are needed and a system that responds to the colours it sees.
