What is IoT?

The Internet of Things (IoT) connects everyday devices so they can share data and be controlled from a phone or another device. Sensors collect readings, and connected controllers send them on or act on commands.

What students build

In Upskily's main IoT courses, students design smart home systems that respond automatically to everyday conditions, and connect everyday devices so information can be monitored, shared and used to trigger actions remotely. In the hands-on IoT courses, they control a fan and lights from a mobile app, program LED light strips, measure soil moisture to decide when plants need water, build a motion-detection alarm and turn weather readings into live digital information.
